Recently, after my previous post about the use of Styrofoam lunch trays being used in the cafeteria I saw that they decided to listen to us, and now, they are no longer available. It is just the reusable plastic ones available now.
I am really excited about this. It feels really good to be listened too, especially after I thought my voice wasn't heard. It also feels really good that now our school is producing at least a little bit less waste every day. Every little bit counts.
Of course, this shows that even though you think that you may not be listened to (and I know that everyone feels that way sometimes) you should continue to do whatever you can to change what is important to you. Just because one thing doesn't go your way, doesn't mean that this should ruin your spirit forever. A lose just makes you stronger, and helps you to learn about how do something different next time.
Don't let anyone stand in the way of what you believe in!!!

I was glad to hear about the lunch trays too. I never thought that anything would really happen. Who knew?
I know right. The styrofoam plaits were bad for the enviorment. Really sad stuff but thanks for posting.
